The prompt

As we think about Christmas and Christ coming to earth, John 1:14 hits home for us. The Word (Jesus) became flesh and moved into the neighborhood and in doing so, shows us God the Father.

Jesus, both God and man, came to dwell on earth and live a fully human life, in a particular time and a particular place. How does his coming and his dwelling on earth, impact your life at Mason? What would it look like for you to follow His example, and in doing so, show others something about what God is like? How might the reality of His "moving into the neighborhood" transform how you think about and live this Christmas season?

It is our hope that this prompt would spark your imagination. If you need some direction, consider the steps below:

1. Read the prompt
2. Reflect --consider journaling, imagining, taking a walk
3. Respond --create your art inspired by the prompt

We look forward to receiving your entry!

THE DEADLINE: December 4th, 2020, 7:00PM EST

Note: Some of the verbiage and rules for this challenge have been inspired & borrowed from Be Still Media. Learn more here.
